Emerson Personal Training (EPT) is the Bay Area’s premier sport and personal training service. At EPT, every trainer is a Certified Personal Trainer, has a Bachelor or Master's degree in a related field, and is approved by the National Strength and Conditioning Association (N.S.C.A.) as a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialists (C.S.C.S.). We tailor exercise, conditioning, strength and performance training programs to the personal needs and requests of our clients.

As a complement to fitness and sport improvement programs, EPT has incorporated FoodWorks® Nutrition System, an individualized approach to diet and nutrition, into its family of offerings. FoodWorks® is about making the right choices and achieving balance in the selection and consumption of food. The program is not about counting calories, taking the magic pills, deprivation, starvation, or giving up your favorite foods. Instead it is a practical approach to eating that yields positive results. The program works because it combines nutrition and exercise to bring about healthy and lasting changes.
 
The FoodWorks® Nutrition System was created by Dorie Krepton who is an Exercise Nutritionist and Professor in the Kinesiology-Physical Education Department at California State University, Hayward. She is the founder and director of the Health and Fitness Institute and serves as a consultant to numerous fitness programs around the country. Many professional and Olympic athletes, as well as clients within the general and specialized populations have benefited from her unique approach. With her scientifically proven system and an individualized exercise program many of EPT’s clients have successfully reached their personal goals.
